Checking a patent in from Scheduler

 

A patient can be checked in two different ways from the Scheduler:

 

Right-click on an event and select Check All Linked Patients In. If there are multiple patients linked to the event, they will all be checked in.

 

In the Event Detail Form, select one or more patients in the Linked Patients List, right-click, and choose Check Selected Patients In.

 

When a patient is checked in, the words CHECKED IN will be displayed next to their name in the Event Detail Form.

 

In the Schedule View, a small icon with a face will be displayed on the top right corner of the event.

 

In addition, if someone other than the clinician associated with the event has checked in a patient, the corresponding clinician will receive a popup message informing them that their patient has checked in. They can acknowledge this message and prevent it from displaying again by closing the message using the red X in the top right of the popup window.

Checking a Patient Out

A patient can be checked out three different ways from the scheduler:

 

Right-click on an event and select Check All Linked Patients Out. If there are multiple patients linked to the event, they will all be checked out.

 

In the Event Detail Form, select one or more patients in the Linked Patients List, right-click, and choose Check Selected Patients Out.

 

In the Check-in Sheet, double-click on a name in the list.
