Portal Package Registration
Description
The ClinicTracker Connect Portals are secure web-based systems that allows patients and staff to directly access their clinical and medical data. This feature allows patients to see the following types of information:
- Demographic Information
- Past Encounter Information
- Medication List
- Allergy List
- Problem List
- Lab Information
- Education Resources
- Scheduled Appointments
- Financial Account Status
In addition, it allows for:
- Generation and Downloading of Continuity of Care Document
- Ability to confirm or cancel scheduled appointments (Appointment Reminder Service required)
- Ability to pay bills online (Credit Card Processing Service required)
Security
The ClinicTracker Connect Patient Portal utilizes industry standard SSL encryption for all web traffic, in addition to encrypted passwords, to ensure that the patient data is not at risk of being accessed from an unauthorized user. ClinicTracker staff will work directly with your IT staff to make the necessary configuration changes in your clinic’s firewall to provide access, while maintaining the highest degree of security possible.
Configuration
From the clinic’s perspective there are only three steps to allowing patients to access their data through the Patient Portal.
Step 1: Configure your firewall to allow web traffic to access your database server.
Step 2: Click here to provide JAG Products support staff with a completed registration form (we will handle applying that information to your site branding)
Step 3: Create patient accounts
Technical Configuration
If you're not using the JAG Hosting Service, your IT resources will be responsible for making the necessary adjustments to your firewall to allow the Patient Portal to communicate with your database. This configuration change can be described as allowing TCP and UDP traffic from only our web server’s IP address (20.55.16.250) on the same port that you have SQL Server listening on. ClinicTracker support staff will be available to assist in this process.
