Staff -> Staff Based Activity

 

Note: This module will only be available if you have selected Display Staff Based Activity on the Options form, General Tab.

You can access this module by going to: Staff -> Staff Based Activity

The Staff Based Activity Module is a bit different than the other paperwork items. It is the one module that is centered around a staff member as opposed to a patient. Use it to record activities performed by a staff member that do not necessarily relate to a patient’s case. Therefore, when you load this form, you will be asked to select a staff name, as opposed to a patient name.

You will need to configure this form prior to use.

 

Form Layout

The form has two sections, one for tracking activities and the other referred to as the Weekly Report. Each section has a separate print routine that you can access by going to File -> Print… or clicking the PRINT icon.

 

Activity Tracking

The Activity Tracking Section has a pre-determined set of tabs, but the contents are driven by what is entered in the Staff Based Values section of the Maintenance Menu. See the section below on Configuring the Form for more information. The provided tabs are as follows:

1. Miscellaneous: Record activities you perform that are not done directly with a consumer or with someone directly related to a consumer (i.e. family member, collateral contact, etc.). This also records conversations that you have with others regarding a clinical issue.  This is NOT for conversations regarding patients or prevention groups.

2. Crisis Management: Record time spent assisting in, and responding to, a crisis.

3. Professional Development: Record time spent providing professional development services. This should not be used to document your participation in professional development activities (which would go under Training).

4. Training: Record time spent participating in trainings that you attend on behalf of your agency.

5. Referrals: Record referrals made.

 

Weekly Report

This tab is to document accomplishments, challenges, and plans in clinical work and also in implementation of Evidence-Based Interventions (EBI).

 

Tab Captions

The tab captions will respond based on the data entered in the various tabs. The Activity Tracking Tabs will display the total duration (in minutes) of activities recorded within each tab. The Weekly Report Tab will simply display two asterisks surrounding the caption (e.g. * Weekly Report *) to indicate data was entered in that tab.

 

 

Reporting

Staff can report on their own Staff Based Data by going to My Staff Based Activity available through the Personal Reporting Menu on the Main Screen. Go to: Reports -> My Staff Based Activity

 

 

Administrators can also report on this data by going to Reports -> Staff -> Staff Based Activity Report.
