Setting Appointment Reminder Preference (Call or SMS)

There are two methods for staff to set the Appointment Reminder Preference for a patient. Please note: Once you set an option for a patient's Appointment Reminder Preference, it will retain the preference until the option is changed.
- From within the scheduler, choose the Patient option in the Resource Display list on the right side of the form and select the patient to display their name. Right-click the patient name in the Resource Display list, and choose the desired option from the Appointment Reminder Preference menu (Call, SMS (text message), or Call + SMS).
- From within the Event Detail screen, right-click the name of the patient and choose the desired option from the Appointment Reminder Preference menu.
