Setting Appointment Reminder Preference (Call or SMS)

There are two methods for staff to set the Appointment Reminder Preference for a patient. Please note: Once you set an option for a patient's Appointment Reminder Preference, it will retain the preference until the option is changed.

  1. From within the scheduler, choose the Patient option in the Resource Display list on the right side of the form and select the patient to display their name. Right-click the patient name in the Resource Display list, and choose the desired option from the Appointment Reminder Preference menu (Call, SMS (text message), or Call + SMS).

  2. From within the Event Detail screen, right-click the name of the patient and choose the desired option from the Appointment Reminder Preference menu.
