Recurring Event

 

Creating a reminder requires either a non-recurring event or a series exception. As soon as a reminder is scheduled for an event in a series, it will automatically be turned into a recurrence exception (much like when creating a linked Patient Contact record). For this reason, you cannot send a reminder from the event detail form when choosing the “Open the Series” option after double-clicking on a recurring event.

 

  1.  Right-click the Recurring Event and select Open the Series

  2. Right-click patient name and select Generate Reminder

  3. You will receive this message reminding you it is a recurring event.
