Deleting a Patient Record
Patient -> Demographics -> Intake tab
Most of the time, when you no longer want to access a patient record, you will simply discharge the patient. That way the record stays in the system so you can view it later or use it as a basis for re-admitting the person. However, for a patient record entered by mistake, you may want to actually delete the entire record. This process is a bit involved because the system has to scan for any linked records (appointments, paperwork, etc.). If you are sure you want to delete the entire patient record, go to File -> * DELETE *.
A warning box will appear asking you to confirm what you’re about to do. Hit Yes to complete the deletion.
