Configuring ClinicTracker to Use Telehealth
Now that you have enabled the Telehealth module, you can begin making a few custom configurations to your system. You can enable specific schedule event types, rooms, and services for telehealth conferencing. These configurations will determine if an event automatically generates a telehealth session. For example, if you schedule an event in a room that has the Video Conference setting set to "Yes, Automatic", then the event will automatically be considered a telehealth visit and will create a placeholder for the online session. If you select an event type, room, or service set to "Yes, Manual", then you would need to explicitly create a teleconference after the fact, by using the right-click menu. If all three properties are set to "Disabled", then teleconferencing will be unavailable for that event.
Note: If any of the three properties of an event are set to "Yes, Automatic", the event will be considered a telehealth event. If not, the event will be considered a telehealth event if any of the three properties of an event are set to "Yes, Manual"
You can easily invite non-ClinicTracker staff and/or patients to join a telehealth session by using the Public Conference feature. For more information, see Public Conference.
