Appointment Save Restrictions
Admin Config -> Appointment Save Restrictions
Because you might want to prevent scheduling a certain client based on issues regarding insurance or provider credential level, ClinicTracker has an Appointment Save Restrictions feature. It lets you flag when a user should not schedule an appointment for a particular patient. For example, it may be that you want to keep staff from making an appointment if the patient has insurance that won't pay for a certain type of program.
You can specify Appointment Save Restrictions based on multiple dimensions: the type of insurer, the location of the service, the credential of the provider, the diagnosis or the type of service provided. The system enforces the rule when a user tries to save an Appointment record within Patient Contacts.
