Search for Timeslot

Patients -> Demographics -> Action -> Schedule Appointment -> Search for Timeslot

Note: A powerful feature of the scheduler is its ability to find available appointment slots. However, the quality of this feature is dependent on the staff maintaining their list of availability using the Set My Availability feature.

1. Specify the search criteria at the top of the form
2. Press Search 
3. Search results are displayed at the bottom of the screen, double-click the appointment time you'd like to select
   
    
4. A Scheduled Event is created using the selected timeslot and linked to the selected clinician and patient, fill in the remaining fields as appropriate:
   
   
   1. Description: a description of the event to be displayed on the Scheduler
   2. Location: select the room where the event will take place
   3. Service: select the service that will be provided during the event
   4. Program: specify the program that this event falls under
   5. Payor: specify the insurance company that will be billed for this event
5. Click the Ok button  to save
