Checking a Patient In For an Appointment
There are three ways to check a patient in for their appointment.
- Checking in From a Scheduled Event
- go to Utilities > Scheduler or My Schedule widget.
- Right-click on an event in the Scheduler.
- Select "Check All Linked Patients In."
- Any patients linked to the Event will be checked in.
- Checking in From the Event Details Form
- Go to Utilities > Scheduler or My Schedule widget.
- Double-click on an Event. (or right-click on the Event and click Event Details.)
- Select one or more linked patients and right-click on the patient's name.
- Click Check Selected Patients In.
- Checking in Using the Check-In Sheet
- Go to Utilities > Scheduler > Check In Sheet or My Schedule widget.
- The Check-In Sheet will display fields for Patient, Staff, Start Time, End Time, Location, Checked In Time, Checked In By, Check-Out Time, and Checked Out By.
Identifying if a Patient Has Checked in For an Appointment
- A small face icon will appear on the bottom right corner of the event on the Scheduler.
Checking a Patient Out From an Appointment
There are three ways to check a patient out from an appointment.

Checking Out From a Scheduled Event
- Go to Utilities > Scheduler or My Schedule widget.
- Right-click on an Event.
- Select All Linked Patients Out.
- Checking Out From the Event Details Form
- Go to Utilities > Scheduler or My Schedule widget.
- Double-click on an Event.
- Select one or more linked patients and right-click on the patient's name.
- Check Selected Patients Out.
- Checking Out Using the Check-In Sheet
- Go to Utilities > Scheduler > Check In Sheet or My Schedule widget.
- Double-click a line item and it will check the patient out.
