Staff Assignments (Caseload Management)
Use this form to set or update Staff Assignments for clinicians.
About Staff Assignments
This feature will allow you to manage the caseload of individual staff members. The Staff Assignment form allows you to maintain a detailed accounting of all staff associated with a case. This form is also able to retain historical information, not just current. Multiple Staff Assignments can be associated with one patient. For example, a patient might have an Intake Coordinator, Therapist, and Social Worker assigned to them.
Assigning Staff to a Patient
Users can go to: Patients > Patient Demographics > Staff Assignments button or Patients > Patient Dashboard > Client Info tab > Active Staff Assignments > View Details and select/enter:
- Staff Name
- Use Load Intake button if you want the Staff to match the Intake Clinician field on Demographics
- Use Load Follow-Up -button if you want the Staff to match the Follow-Up Clinician field on Demographics
- Assignment Type
- Program
- Anticipated Hours
- Date Referred
- Date Assigned
- Notify This Assignee: Click this button to notify the assigned staff
- Notify All Assigned: Click this button to notify all assigned staff
- Save
Ending a Staff Assignment For a Patient
Users with Full Access System Permissions can go to: Patients > Patient Demographics > Staff Assignments button or Patients > Patient Dashboard > Client Info tab > Active Staff Assignments > View Details select the Staff Assignment you wish to unassign:
- Place a checkmark in the Unassigned Date checkbox. Enter or Select the end date for this staff assignment. The date can be a previous, current, or future date
- Select the reason that you are unassigning the staff member for this patient
