About Staff Portal Staff Dashboard Builder

ClinicTracker's Staff Dashboard Builder empowers you to create a personalized Staff Portal experience. Upon launching the Staff Portal, you will find the all-new Staff Dashboard Builder that offers Clinicians, Supervisors, and Admin users the flexibility to design their own dashboards as per their preferences.

Getting Started Staff Dashboard Builder

When you launch the Staff Portal you will be taken to the Staff Dashboard Builder layout page with details about this powerful tool. 

  • Click Get Started, to build your Staff Dashboard.


Next, you will select from the Dashboard Layout Library your choice of either the Front Desk Staff Layout or Clinician/Supervisor Layout.


  • As an example, you will see that the Clinician/Supervisor Layout will start off as a blank template. To add widgets to your dashboard, simply click the Add button on each widget.

Tip: Click the pencil on the top left of your dashboard to customize your dashboard name. 
  • You will be presented with many different widgets to choose from. Click Select to add your choice of widgets. These widgets include Schedule, Overdue Tasks, Appointments, Messages,  Pending Portal Registrations, Action Items, Patient Open Balances, and Un-Transitioned Appointments widgets.


  • Once you have selected all of your widgets for your Dashboard, it will look similar to the example pictured below.

Tip: To remove any widgets click the 3 dots in the top corner of the widget and select Remove.

My Dashboard Navigation Menu Buttons

On the left side of your dashboard, you will see the My Dashboard menu item buttons, which include:

  • Patients
  • My Schedule
  • Messages
  • Forms
  • Options
  • Staff 
  • Utilities
  • Support
  • To expand the My Dashboard menu, click the three hash marks with the arrow.

Add New and Cloned Dashboards

To add a new dashboard, click the cog wheel on the top right corner of the dashboard.

  • Click New. 
  • Follow the Dashboard Layout Library steps.

To clone an existing dashboard,  click the cog wheel on the top right corner of the dashboard.

  • Click Clone.
  • Click Yes, Clone Current Dashboard. 
 Tip: To see a list of all the dashboards you have created, click the square with the four boxes in the top left corner.
