Online Scheduling

 

  • Allow Appointments to be Booked Online: Check this box to allow Portal Users to search available timeslots and book appointments through the Patient Portal.
  • Require Notice for Appointments Booked Online: Enter the minimum notice required to book an appointment in Patient Portal, from 1 to 59 days. For 24 hours notice, enter 1; for 48 hours notice, enter 2; for a week's notice, enter 7.
  • Include (Portal) Tag in Event Description: Enable this setting to show (Portal) at the end of the description for events booked through the Patient Portal.
  • Search Appointments for All Staff by Default: Check this box to automatically select the 'Select All' Staff checkbox on the Book Appointment tab in the Patient Portal.
  • Allow Appointments to be Booked Online Only with Assigned Staff: Check this box to ensure Portal users only schedule appointments with staff assigned to them.
  • Allow a Search for Appointments at All Locations: Check this box to add a new option 'All Locations' to the Location dropdown found under the Book Appointment Page in the Patient Portal.
  • Search Appointments for All Event Types by Default: Check this box to search for "All Event Types" by default on the Book Appointment page in the Patient Portal.
  • Hide Appointment Search Filters: Check this box to hide 'Event Type', 'Available Staff' and 'Week Days' filters on the Book Appointment page in the Patient Portal.
  • Display a Description on My Scheduler Page: Enter text to appear as the Description under the My Schedule tab in Patient Portal.
  • Collect Amount Before Appointment: Display an option to collect a copay or open balance for the upcoming appointment on the Scheduled Events page.
  • Prevent Portal Users from Checking in via Patient Portal: Check this box to prevent Portal Users from being able to check in via Patient Portal > Home page > My Upcoming Appointments section.
