Summaries

  • Allow Free-Form Summaries: Do you want to allow a free-form version of Consultation Summaries, Admission Notes, Admission Summaries, Transfer Summaries, and Discharge Summaries?
  • Set As Default View: Should Free-Form be the default view for these documents?
  • Eating Disorder Fields: "Summaries" are considered the Consultation Summary, Admission Note, Admission Summary, Transfer Summary, and Discharge Summary. This option will add an additional ED (eating disorders) tab to these documents.
  • Require DSM: “Summaries” are considered the Consultation Summary, Admission Note, Admission Summary, Transfer Summary, and Discharge Summary. This option will require the DSM be entered before you are allowed to save any of these records.
  • Discharge Summary: Default to Mini Note: This option will default the Discharge Summary to the “Mini-Note” format that is typically accessed using the checkbox on the bottom right corner of the form.
  • Discharge Summary Mini Note: Show MH Tx Tab: Check this option if you want to display the Mental Health History tab in the Mini Discharge Summary format.
  • Discharge Summary: Print Patient Signature: Check this option to print a patient signature block on the MH and CD Discharge Summary output. Note that this is only relevant if not using eForms.
  • Update Admission Information from Admission Note: When you lock an Admission Note with this option checked, the system will automatically set the Type as "Patient" and update the Admission Date to the report date.
  • Don't Load Clinical Summary Section from Prior Records: Check this box to prevent the Clinical Summary Section from populating when loading data from a prior record.

  • Adjust Form Type For: This gives you the option of choosing between Outpatient Services and In-Home Services. Depending on your choice, certain forms will be adjusted accordingly (e.g. If In-Home Services is selected, the Intake form will show a Priority Code field on the Demographics tab and the Compliance module will display different requirements).
